The Delhi Comic Arts Festival (DeCAF) is an International festival of Comics which begins its first chapter this year(2017).

The festival will focus on the world of comics / cartoons / illustration and also explore its many roles in film, animation, Gaming, Publishing, etc., via a series of exciting presentations by artists and professionals connected to the world of Comics.

The festival shall also exhibit artworks from various artists around the world.

The festival dates for this year are the 4th, 5th, and the 6th of December 2017 .

The venue of the festival is the India International Centre, New Delhi.

Announcements

Clip studio paint (also called Manga studio by some) has announced 30 free licenses for a trial period of 3 months for DeCAF. Those interested to receive these licenses can send a sketch or an illustration on the Theme of "Delhi" (any aspect of Delhi) to us at decafonline@gmail.com and the best 30 shall receive the licenses. We will announce the winners by the 15th of December 2017.

A collection of artworks sourced from various Comic artists, magazines and publications from around the world showcasing diverse styles, visual narratives and techniques will be exhibited during the festival . The artworks will be displayed around the India International Centre campus using both outdoor and indoor spaces including the Gandhi -King Memorial Plaza and the Art Gallery, Kamaladevi Complex at India International Centre.

Exhibits are being displayed at the Kamladevi Art Gallery and the Gandhi King Plaza.
